Think dropshotting is just for deep water? Think again. In this video, we reveal how to use a dropshot in less than 7 feet of water to catch pressured bass around wood, docks, debris, and heavy vegetation.

As an avid dropshotter, that’s really good info. Also, I bed fish a dropshot by shortening the tag line down to 4 or 5 inches. There’s nothing that will entice a strike like a dropshot bait hovering over a bed.

Great video! One of my best summer evening techniques is getting a dropshot with a short 6”-10” leader, and a reaper or small minnow bait then letting the breeze drag me across shallow flats.

I’ve put 5 in the box in under 30 minutes more than once dropshotting in 4-6 feet of water.
