i bought 1

it came in the mail there was a big run on the rod

so needless to say i wasnt happy emailed the guy

his response was i was to anal about my fishing stuff

i sent him the rod back and he sent me a new 1

he makes a pretty good rod but its no lommis

which he claims there better then

i dont think so

fished the rod 1 time caught 3 bass and a northern

2 3pounders a 2 pound and a little northern and the rod did feel pretty sweet

i bought a boat and needed trolling motor battiers so i sold the rod

that is the only reason i got rid of that rod

I've got a G-Blank 7' flippin rod and I love it.  It's a helluva rod for only $135.  Plus, G-Blanks are made here in Tulsa, so I don't have far to go far if I have a problem.  A word of caution, G-Blanks is very short of staff, so you may have to wait a few weeks for your rod.

I have about 6 G-Blanks at the moment and really like every one of them. My only complaint with them is that if you order an actual custom,(special color wraps,your name on it,spiral wrap,titanium guides, etc...) it takes a little while to get it made because of the low staff count and high volume of orders.

G-Blanks are gaining popularity and they do get backed up now and then. But if you arent in a real big rush.....I would at least recommend that you try one.

They usually keep a decent selection of the more popular rods on eBay and you can get those shipped the day after you pay.
