  1. I was using a lucky craft cb-200 in white.
  2. It has been a tough fishing year with all the rain we have had. Me and Laine finally got back out to the pond after missing almost a month of fishing. (Place was flooded! >) I was having a really slow morning with only about 2 bites after almost 3 hours. I was getting pretty frustrated to say the least! Laine was doing okay with a crankbait, so I decide to tie on one also. After about 10 casts, the big boy hit. She weighed 7.12 on the digital scale, which tied my personal best. I was definitely pumped! I think the biggest crankbait fish I have ever caugth before this one was about 2 1/2 pounds...
  3. I let you pose for a pic with my 7 pounder, and now you go posting it as your own! Just kiddin, man! ;D That was a nice fish, and I was happy to net her for ya!
  4. Chatterbaits seem to get a bad rap. I have had days when I can't buy a hit on one of them, then other days, the fish just tear them up. I do know that at the pond we fish at, my buddy and I have both caught our PB's on chatterbaits
  5. Daiwa for collecting, and Shimano for fishing...
  6. Very cool! 8-) Gotta love those ito's, man they look good on just about any rod!
  7. Thanks Matt! Here is a better pic of the spool
  8. Hey guys I added some new bling to one of my TD-Z's, so i thought I would share some pics.. I added a ZPI Mg spool, Bassart handle with cork knobs, and a set of ABEC 5 spool bearings. 8-)
  9. The last reel is an old Shakespeare reel. I think it was made sometime in the 40's. It is still in great shape! I did have a revo for awhile. I just didn't like the reel. Don't really know why, it just didn't feel like a very good reel. I mainly fish with Shimano and Daiwa, so I am probably just used to those...
  10. Here are some of my old Abu's..
  11. No, the new reels are safely tucked away in the display cabinet.. I used the old tried and true Mg50 and Curados... Daiwa's are the coolest reels, but I really like fishing with Shimano's
