Tied PB on a crankbait!

Featured Replies

It has been a tough fishing year with all the rain we have had.  Me and Laine finally got back out to the pond after missing almost a month of fishing.  (Place was flooded!  >:()  I was having a really slow morning with only about 2 bites after almost 3 hours.  I was getting pretty frustrated to say the least!  Laine was doing okay with a crankbait, so I decide to tie on one also.  After about 10 casts, the big boy hit.  She weighed 7.12 on the digital scale, which tied my personal best.  I was definitely pumped! :D  I think the biggest crankbait fish I have ever caugth before this one was about 2 1/2 pounds...

Nice fish, what type of crank were you using?

I was using a lucky craft cb-200 in white.

GREAT PIC!

Too bad you had a scale, that fish would have been an easy DD!   ::)

Seriously, congratulations, that's a fine bass.

And who said fall was far small bass?   ;)

Very nice fish.  I've never caught a pig on a crankbait either.
