What are you picking and why ?

I haven't tried the X but the current 100 is my workhorse. I think I picked up 4 while they could still be had on Amazon for $129. JDM price even with fees I think is right around usdm price of the X so I would still go 100.

Also even as a huge fan of the tat elite I have to admit the new camel toe frame is better.

I'm waiting on delivery of the Tatula 100. Pairing with a medium heavy rated 1/4-1oz. I like the looks of all black and smaller frame. I went with a 7 speed as an all rounder.

The new 100s are nice. The older ones werent bad, but I just didnt like the ergos of the frames. The Tatulas were somwhat compact by the spool, but flared out at the levelwind, which I wasnt a fan of. Although, I dont think the newer Tat 100/SV frames are as compact as a Met or even some Curados, they feel much better than the previous gen and operationally, they feel great.

By all accounts the X seems to be good as well, but its hard to not justify the extra $ when the 100/SVs are so good.
