Snagless urchins?

Featured Replies

Any ides on how to rig an urchin when you need to get it into brush?

I'm just learning how to fish these baits. Used a treble, a single, frog, and a weedless neko or wacky style but had the most succes with a bare, weedless jig head. Shown are 2 Unis on a jighead with a weed guard.

Any other ideas?

I bought a pack of the Berkley weedless wacky hooks (3/0) and tried a splitshot rig for these in the brush. Worked pretty good with the small baits (Atom Bomb here), but wouldn’t be enough hook for the bigger ones.
