Terminator "Football Jig"

Featured Replies

Anyone use this lure???

i bought one and tyed it on....over 4 bucks.....and i lost it first cast on a hangup

i always thought that these jigs were special because they dont get hung up as easy cuz of their shape, guess not

my question is this, is it really a lot different than an ordinary jig? or is it hyped up?

supposively this is a hot lure down southb right now.....iv never had a shot to use it

SHOULD I BUY ANOTHER ONE, OR JUST STICK WITH REGULAR JIGS???

should i fish it bare? im not a big jig fisherman, and never really made it happen with them before

THANKS

I've had some luck on their grass jigs, however i like putting craw trailers on. I get hung up more on football jigs myself. They are great jigs though...don't give up too fast on them.

Don't feel bad for loosing jigs trying to get at the fish.  This past weekend I lost 5 Tru-Tungsten jigs @ $7.00 a pop.  Keep after them.   8-)

ok now i feel better......

i was actually catching them on a craw only, after i lost that one.....

i never had any luck, and then BAM, 3 in a row on a yamomoto crawdad with just a Texposer hook...weightless....

the action i was getting was pretty impressive, flippping around like a real craw....... i never had much faith in them things, got them on sale for 3 bucks...

They are great jigs.  I would not give up on them at all.  I would look around to see if you can find them cheaper, $4 seems high.  I usually can pick them up for around $2.50.

The Terminator football jigs and Booyah Boo Jigs are all I use. I have never lost one of the football jigs due to a snag. But, I do lose a lot of the boo jigs.

Football jigs are about all I use anymore. I fish alot of rock and rocky points and the football head has been the ticket for the past few years. You can get caught up in all the different type heads and just confuse yourself with all the choices. Just fish a few different heads and stick with what works best. And you will lose jigs, thats just part of the game.
