bait monkey made me buy an overpriced bait...

Featured Replies

It is true.  After having tried several option I had decided there were equally effective baits out there at better prices and I wouldn't be buying anymore lucky crafts.

Then I browsed tackle warehouse today:

Today's Daily Special Rick Clunn BDS 1.5's $9.99

Bait monkey wins again.  Is this the same as the RC 1.5?  I though that was exclusive to Bass Pro...

What???!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

You spent 10 bucks PLUS shipping for one stupid lure??!?!?!??!!!!!??????

I would NEVER..............

well almost NEVer........

will maybe once or twice.......

or maybe a little more than once or twice..........

AWRIGHT so i do it too.

sue me.

Cool stuff costs

Worth every penny.....ever since I found that bait, my Bagley Killer B2's have been collecting dust.

are lucky craft lures worth as much as twice or three times other lures? Plus, how much swearin' do you do when you lose one of those babies?

have a look on megabass , imakatsu , evergreen jackall bros

You 'll never know until you try one.

How much swearing ? well, it ain 't gonna catch nuthin stored in your T-box and if ain 't where it can get hung up it ain 't in the right place so with that in mind and having a certain degree of peace of mind knowing you have your trusty lure retriever just in case, I 'd say .... fish with it with confidence.

The quality and productivity of Lucky Craft lures is amazing, but you should not fish them from the bank and as Raul noted, you better have a retriever that works!

Fishing any high priced crank bait from the bank is a bad idea- consider it gone or be ready to feel the devistation!!!

I mostly use LCs for topwaters, but have recently started using others as well.  With the sammys, you should see some of the places I have put the boat, to retrieve a snag.  Ocaisonally, I have had to put the trolling motor on full throttle, going bacwards (with outboard taken off for elec only lake) to get the boat far enough into a weed patch to get one.  I pull it up, just as it is getting to the weeds.  Now, getting out, with 5 feet of weeds in front of your bow is tough, as I cant drop the trolling motor in the weeds. :)
