i am purchashing an Abu Garcia Revo STX-HS for my b-day on august 9th.... I was wondering if anyone had recommendents for rods the fit this reel well i want a rod 200 or under 6' 6" or maybe 7'..... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated......i was looking at some kistlers og G-loomis?

No matter what brand your after....Go back and look at them again only this time take the reel you intend to use on the rod and see how the rod/reel combo fits and feels in your hand..

I agree 100% u would be surprised the diff in a rod alone and one with ur reel matter of fact many rods feel Better without a reel in the store and a not so good feelin rod feels better with a reel on it
