What do you think are some bargain buys for reels and rods???

I think Zebco's are pretty good for their price.

Bargain is relative, but here's what I think are bargains:

$39 All-Star Classic Rod

$59 Pflueger President Spinning Reel

$39 Shimano Sonora Spinning Reel

$99 BPS Extreme baitcast combo

And I'm hoping a $30 BPS Crankin' Stick is also a bargain, as I'm picking up one shortly.

$91 Abu Garcia Revo SC at Cabelas.

Is that $91 price @ the store or online catalog?? Can't find it.  Swiff

Shimano Citica 200D, $75 brand new on ebay

Bargains always come along on reels if you're willing to be patient.  In the past 3 weeks, I've bought a Calais and and a Calcutta GT for $200 each.

Here are my bargains this year and last year.  All are new, in the box and purchased in store.

Shimano Curado 201 SF (old version)= $35

Shimano Calcutta 251= $30

Quantum Energy Pti-a 20= $80

Shimano Sahara 4000= $15

BPS Johnny Morris Sig. 7' M Rod= $100

I would have added a Shimano Chronarch 51 MG and a Chronarch 101 BPV to this list but due lack of funds (kids starting school) I missed out  :'(.  I found them for $50 each but only sold together.

My best bargain was an Abu Garcia Record 50 ($140) for $40. This was last year when all of the Wal-Marts were marking everything down and Pure Fishing had the $10 rebate.   Needless to say I was

My best one this year is the Revo SC for $91 at Cabelas.
