Looking to buy another spinning reel setup. Currently have Shimano symetre and Shimano Clarus rod. Nice setup for me. Question at hand. Are Daiwa SS series spinnning reels worth the money? Too dated? For those who have any thoughts before I spend any more money let me know. Thanks!

    Unless you can purchase it on sale I 'd say no, not that they are bad, on the contrary, they are very good but you can get a more modern technology reel for the same price.

    I don't quit understand what Raul meant. This reel is up to date and has a very good reputation, on blue water and fresh.
