Cork handle coming apart

Featured Replies

Guys,

Is this the end of the life for my rod?  The cork is coming off more with each use.  What are some solutions?

Thanks.

The cork on my six year old G.Loomis came loose last spring. Although ReelMech said it could be fixed, both he and G.Loomis suggested I have it replaced rather than repaired. The XPeditor program cost $50 and I had a new rod in a couple of days.

Bream Master,

Yup sure did. The grip can be repaired but it is costly and time consuming. If it is a Loomis I would have the rod replaced. If it is another manufacturer' I would contact them about warranty replacement of the rod..

Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!
