Im looking for a new reel for throwing 1/4oz or so cranks and topwaters. I know the Sol is good but Im looking more in the $100 or so range. Ive been looking at the BPS ProLite. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

If you don't mind saving up another $50, the Curado 100/1 D would be a great option.  Very smooth for horizontal retrieve baits, excels at casting lighter weights, and it weighs in at 7.4oz.

The new Pflueger Asaro might be the ticket too. It's in the same catagory as the Sol, not sure how good the brake is though, haven't used Pflueger Baitcasters much.

For light baits, lures 1/4 oz and less, I would use spinning tackle and recommend a Shimano Symetre 2500 or Stradic 2500FH on sale. If you decide to stick with a baitcasting combinatiion, Shimano Citica CI 200DSV.
