I have just received a 7" xfast of this model. Looks like a heavy duty rod.

Which are the best presentations/lures to use this rod? I'm planning to use it for big spinnerbaits&lipless (over 1/2oz), fishing plastics with texas method as well as senkos/ikas.

I don't own that model, but I've checked them out.  Your rod will work just fine for your intents, as well as jigs.

I looked at a lot of Shimano rods yesterday, Compre's and Crucial's, first time I have ever paid much attention to there rods. The seemed like fantastic rods for a great price, so I would be interested in any reveiws of these rods as well.

Well, speak of the devil.  I ordered the 7' Medium/Medium-Fast model of this rod and just received it today.  When I took it out of the shipping tube, I was surprised at how light it was.  Haven't got to play around with it yet, though.  Literally just opened it.

i had the compre casting 6'6" mh and it was a sweet rod

i used it for cranks spinnerbaits and it worked great

and they have a really good warrenty

for under $100 best rod u can buy

I used Compre's before I went with Loomis (the older brown blanked version), and they performed excellently.  Congrats...should be very versatile.
