Whats Your Favorite Jig Trailer?

Featured Replies

Since I just started using Jigs lately (with great success might I add  ;D) I just wanted to get a good idea of some well known/well producing jig trailers so I can keep an eye out and pick up a few when I see em. Another thing I wanted to ask is, is there a difference between pork trailers and plastic trailers? Or they about the same? Cause I been using plastic ones lately, but Ive never tryed the pork.

Yum Chunks are my favorite.

Paca Chunks and GYCB DT Grubs.

Once I tried the Paca chunks, I was sold. That's the only trailer I've used this year.

I have been using Yum chunks until recently. GYCB Flappin' Hogs is what I have been using this past two weeks. The fish absolutely refuse to let go of the jigs when I'm using one of these as a trailer. I have to make a public Thank You to Natural for this idea. Believe me, it works!!!

i usually use a yum chunk or a zoom chunk, and the stuff me and basspro48 make

In the heat of the summer around cover, a heavy 5/8oz finesse jig and paca chunk senior gets a great reaction bite.  However, lately, the bass have just pounded the jig/Flappin' Hog like I've never seen.  I don't know what it is...it doesn't have the action of the Paca, but it just looks so good in the water.  Sitting on the bottom you can't tell if it is real or not.    I caught two good fish in a local pond that gets a lot of pressure that had a fresh hole in their lip from a very recent catch...that told me somthing.  I just sent RW some...I'm waiting to hear what he has to say with them (dude...put them on a jig!)

Recently I have had some great luck using the GYCB Kreature. Otherwise, I have been using the 3 1/2" Uncle Josh pork traier (blue), GYCB Fat Baby Craw and am experimenting with the Reaction Innovations Double Wide Beaver. I am fishing these trailers on a Micro Munch Tackle 1/2 oz jig, either black or black & blue.
