Does the Yo-zuri Ultra Soft have the same breaking strength as the original hybrid?

I'm looking at my 15# original and it looks like a slinky! Maybe 12# would be better?

    I believe the soft has about a 1-2 lbs difference (less) in breaking strength than the regular.  Still over tests and is still plenty strong.

    I use #12 ultra soft on my baitcasters, I understand the breaking strength may be a tad less than original. I have not had any problems from that standpoint.

    You are right about only getting it from Cabela's. I order it online from them. I have seen it at Gander Mountain stores.
