If the reel you want during the trade-in is out of stock, will BPS  do a  rain check for that reel & the reel trade-in discount?

Or it's what's on stock during the reel trade-in that the discounts will be honored?

Is it out-of-stock on-line? Or is it not at your store?

Give your BPS fishing department a call and ask.

Or call the main number and ask the person who answers the question.

Get their name so if there is a problem you can name the person who told you "yes" to your query and demand that they give you a rain-check.

When to BPS sale last year, they ran out of the Daiwa Steez (spinning and casting), even the displays and returns were gone.  They said that the sale had to be honored only on the day you bring in your used reel.  They had about dozen Steez reels and 100's of people looking to buy them.  Many people went home empty handed.

If they won't give rainchecks I would be surprised. I looked at the ad on the web and the print ad I received in the mail. I couldn't find where it says "Limited to onhand quantities" like some of the other items in the ad does.

Every time they have had some sort of in store sale they never have any left and they are always willing to give me a raincheck. The closest BPS is two hours away so I dan't care too much abour rain checks.

I agree with Sam call the store you are going to and get a name and a commitment.

Ghost, you will get a rain check.  If you're going to go the route of calling the store, ask for the manager of the fishing dept. or the GM of the store.  That person will have the most knowledge of what is going to happen, and should need be, the power to make things happen for you.

I have got many items from BPS using a raincheck. Including a Curado, Terminator Spinnerbais, and line. They will write you a raincheck on the spot. Just be sure to tell them how many you want.

Is it just one reel per reel or can u trade in say 5 reels and have it on the same trade in?????

One reel per reel. The coupon cannot be used for rod and reel combos.

How quickly do the reels sell?  Are there any other reel deals during the classic that worth not waithing for the reel trade in?
