Daiwa Megaforce?

I was thinking of picking one up Sat. at BPS. Is this good reel for the money or should I look at another reel?

Wait until the reel trade-in and get it for $49.99.

I played around with it before at my BPS, he put it on a mini rod w/ a casting plug for me too. It is a really smooth reel and has a great feel to it. Features I noticed that sold me were the non-cheapout magnet adjustment switch(I hate the one that comes on the Procaster 6+1), the twitchin' bar, and the big reel grips. For $60 MSRP, there is nothing cheap about this reel.

Megaforce is one I have thought about purchasing also, so I've played with it a little and done some research on it.  Basically what I found out was that while the twitchin bar is a big selling point, its not something most people use after their first few times out with the reel.  They do, however, seem to think its a solid reel for the money, so overall good buy.  I want to try the megaforce side by side with the black max (abu)

I something that get stock easily

That made no sense whatsoever. Lemme' try and decipher your complex language.... it ( the twitching bar, I assume) gets stuck easily? You own a Megaforce? Please elaborate.

Except the gimmicky twitching bar, and the frame is plastic UNLIKE the Procaster 100H 6+1 which was aluminum. I personaly would not buy this reel. For a few moer dollars you can get a Quantum Accurist AC500Cx with an aluminum frame, or the new Daiwa Exceler, also with an aluminum frame.

Nope but I had a couple of Vientos, now long gone. The twitching bar get stock in other rods, line, rod locker and other. One of mine have to return to Daiwa since I bent the bar in a tourney hurry.

At the end I wasn't using the thing at all.
