Buzzbait with ticker

Featured Replies

I was in the local fishing store, trying to find my favotite lure that I just lost the week before, and I saw this new buzzbait.  Well new to me.  It's the new buzzbait with the ticker.  When the blades move they hit the metal ticker to make a noise, I'm guessing to either bother fish to strike or makes more noise so they can find it.  Has anyone used this type of buzzbait, and how well does it work?  I'm guessing this might be a good lure for night fishing, but before i buy it I wanted to know if it was worth it if it even works.  I didn't want to buy a lure that was only going to sit in my tackle box.

I use this bait in black or white for night fishing during the summer. I have caught some good bass on this bait

Well, whether you buy that one or not, pick up a Cavitron 3/8 oz black on black. This buzzbait has a unique "chirping" sound that has been killin' 'em for me the last few weeks.

Oh heck yeah they work. But IMHO, you could use the extra noise and flash in the daytime in choppy stained water. Bass see better at night...darker colors might work better then, and less noise is required to get their attention as well.

I see these as mid-day, blue-bird sky, windy day lures. Just my $.02...but it sure is pretty!

I haven't used the buzzbait in the pic. If you want a noisy buzzbait you should try this one:

Evergreen Bubble Tornado. The loudest buzzbait I ever used!

Can I get a BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um,...Can you return a phone call???????? ;D ::D

Stratosdadri was the first to throw the Hart clickers on my boat and he proceeded to hand my @$$ to me with it,lol.  Persoanlly, I like the cavitron also, that chirp RW spoke of is like a drug to me as much as to the fish.  Hearing it gets you excited because you know what comes next.  This is the main reason I liked the J-bug this summer too,...that gurgle chirp,.....yummmy

I also use the booyah ones with a clicker. They have out fished my budy useing one with out one. Even going as slow as I can with this lure its louder then his.
