Roboworms

Featured Replies

What style and color do you guys favor?

Looking into picking some up for next season.

There are a couple different worms so I want to know what the best way to rig each one. So if you list something please let me know your favorite way to fish them. Thanks!!

6 inch straight tail in Baby Bass, Blue Crawler, Red Crawler, and Oxblood Crawler.

Put one of those 4 colors on a shaky head and hang on.

Doing this has been my number one producer all season, and its the only rig that I have had tied on for EVERY trip no matter the season...spring,summer,fall...

I LOVE Roboworms stuff. Im headed down to KY Lake this weekend and am going to try out a new color for me: Greenie Weenie, will let you know how it produces.

6" Shakin' Zipper Worms

When things are slow, these worms have produced lots of small fish. I have fished them T-rigged and on a split shot rig. Although they consistantly produce bites, I have never caught a big bass on these worms. For tournament fishermen this is probably a "must have" bait. Roboworms are truely amazing at enticing a bite from inactive bass.

BPS bubble gum on shaky head.  However, as Roadwarrior mentioned I also have yet to catch a big one on Roboworms.

I like warmouth and aron's magic.

I too thought this for a while, until I was fishing with a bud at the delta. Nailed a 4lber and a couple 2 1/2 -3's on a 6 inch robo worm. Made me a believer.

Well, that's kinda what I meant: tournament fish.

I have had good luck using the 4 1/2" straight tail worms on a dropshot.  So far, these are my favorite worms to use on a dropshot rig.  The two best colors I've caught them on are green weenie and bold bluegill.

i love the robo's for dropshotting, i use the sculpins and straight tails on my ds. i usually use aaron's magic or bluegill

I've caught some hawgs recently dropshotting a 6" Sculpin FX in aaron's magic and aaron's magic/red flake...

I also like the 4.5" straight tails in green pumpkin neon and mean green.

If a plastic worm can attain the level of art,

then roboworms is the mona lisa.

The 7" floating in Aarron's Magic on a spot remover gets it done for me. Like RW, never a big fish but good numbers which is what I need at times during a tourny. big

The first time I tried a drop shot it was with a FX 6" Sculpin in Watermelon Red Weenie, I've also had good luck with 5 zipper worms Aaron's Magic Texas rigged.

So far I've only used the 4 1/2" straight tails for dropshotting (also used them on a small shaky head).  Has anyone tried the 6" worms on a dropshot with any luck?  I am just wondering if a little bit bigger worm might get some bigger fish.

I think I remember having this conversation before. My post should have a disclaimer:
