flipping and braid

Featured Replies

though the flipping bite is a few month aways here (vegies at least) but is it safe to assume most people have at least one rod with braid on board for flipping weeds?

last year i had 2 in the boat with just 2 different size flouro lines.

I always have two 7' flipping sticks with braid.  One with 30# and one with 65#.  One of them usually has a toad or a frog tied on the other has a jig or trig tube for pitchin'

Most of my rods reels have 50# PowerPro line on them. It works great and has never given me any reason to use something else.

30lb PowerPro...

40# Power Pro on two flipping rods.  One rigged with a Zoom Baby Brush Hog and another with a Paca Craw.
