I have owned both. I old my Loomi rod for all Dobyns. I also sold all of my Kistler rods. Dobyns is all I fish now...And no I am not sponsered by them! You wont find a more balance rod or better customer relations. just my opinion.

have a spool of Izorline 12# copolymer. Anyone know the actual breaking strength or rough estimate? trying to figure out what setup im going to use it on.

Do you guys find the need to change out the stock hooks on their baits? Other baits such as Strike King I usually change mine out. I didnt know if the more expensive baits had better hooks on them.

What colors do you find yourseelf using the most of?

Check out Dobyns 734 or 735 in either the Savy or Champion Series. you wont find a more balanced rod out there. I prefer a 7'6 for both flipping and pitching. But a 7'3 might be a happy medium for you.

Can I get some insight how most people like to rig these? Weighted or unweighted? Last year I did cut about an inch off and put them on a swim jig. But Im wondering for TX rig.

looking to swap out hooks on my 1.5 shallow cranks. wich size do you recomend?

when using a snap with cranks, do you eliminate the split ring?

would these replace a senko type bait?

I didnt want to high jack the other thread. Is the ring fry heavy enough ( like a senko) to be pitched on casting gear?

what do most of you guys prefer for tx rigs? i thought of switching to off set round bends. but do you tex pose them like ewg hooks? also what are the general concencous on straight shanks?
