Loomis CBR 783?

Featured Replies

Does anybody here own a Loomis CBR783? At first glance it seems very light and sort floppy do to it's moderate action.  I looks like it would be great for light weight cranks.

Thanks again for any opinions.

nope.  I have the CBR 843 which I thought was going to be too light when I took it out of the shipping container until I used it.  It's got back bone.

I have the CBR783 and you are right, it works well with smaller cranks like the wiggle warts. I also like it for shallow cranks like the Baby 1- and for topwaters like Tiny Torpedos.
