what is the difference between the stella 3000 fd@ 650.00

and the  3000 fb @499.00 ?

Besides the fb being the old model?

There was a spool redesign, plus some sturdier gearing. You can find the older fb for way less than 499 if you look around.

There is probably a better deal out there, but BPS has their remaining stock of FBs on sale for $399. I have not seen them advertised, but this was an in-store price at the Memphis store.
