Get one if that is what you want.  We all use different rods and reels to suit our tastes.  Let us know how it fishes in a short review.  You might be able to start a Castaway Posse. lol  :)

    They are split grip rods with a skeleton reel seat been around for awhile.... :)

    Well, as I recall you recently bought a G.Loomis GLX.

    I suspect you will find the Castaway disappointing.
