Has anyone fished a carrot stix?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering how you guys thought the carrot stix fished compared to other rods in its price range such as a loomis or shimano?

i have a parabolic that should be here this week...i know it doesnt help ya now.

Just go back a few pages...There are many posts about them. Or you can do a search.

Lightweight, sensitive, and reasonably priced.  Also looks dang good with a Revo SX.  I have some Avids at a similar price point and would say so far the Carrot Stick is the better rod.

Don't shoot me though

I would have to disagree  - I have a couple of avids and a carrot stix and i prefer the st. croix's.  That's all it is though, my preference.  The carrot stix is a great rod too.

The Carrot is a great handling rod. Light and sensitive. Those that hate it, never owned it.

There is no comparison, it is like fishing with a broom handle, then to a feather.

Gimmick rods.

I'm the only one allowed to say that. :)
