I have 2 Avid spinning rods which I am giving as BD presents.  They are both M.  One is fast tip and one is extra fast.  One guy is 23 the other guy is 43.  Both are occasional fishermen.  So considering age and reflex which rod would you give to which guy or would it matter.

    I don't think it matters, but extra fast is the better action for

    soft plastics. Medium Power/ Fast Action would make for a

    better "all-around" rod.

    Thanks RW.  Due to an oversight on my part I have to make the decision tonight.

    Really, it's not that big a deal and "occasional fishermen" won't know the difference, anyhow.
