NOT HAPPY AT ALL W/ MY KISTLER MAGNESIUM !

Recommended Posts

I've complained about this rod on this site before BUT NOW I'VE REALLY HAD IT ! everything that i've read amout this rod (on this forum and other reviews on the web ) say that it's extremely sensitive.

WRONG! today i was fishing a jig and couldn't feel the bottom as i was dragging it ower the rocky bottom. Thats not all i also lost 4 fish with it I HAVEN'T LOST 4 FISH IN THE PAST 2 YEARS ! and today i lost 4

the rod is a kistler magnesium all purpose spinning 6'6"med.

i am sticking w/my g loomis rods unbeliveably sensitive and i don't lose fish.

                         I  DON'T KNOW MABEY I'M JUST SPOILED

BY MY G LOOMIS RODS .

I had ( notice the past tense of have ) two Kistler Mag TS, the All Purpose and the Crankbait series, I liked the Crankbait series blank ( hated the reel seat and the bulgy handle ), the All Purpose ?......... well, I would take my IMXs over it any day anytime.

Your fishing jigs on a short medium spinner???  That could be the problem with loosing fish right there.  Also, what line are you using?

Not everyone can have more than 1 rod and reel...I personally use a 6'6" m f to fish everything except cranks, not the ideal but it works for me

Join the club, I had 5 new Kistler rods at the start of the 2008 fishing season, the now have been sold and replaced with St. Croix's, Fenwick's, and Shimano's.
