I had ( notice the past tense of have ) two Kistler Mag TS, the All Purpose and the Crankbait series, I liked the Crankbait series blank ( hated the reel seat and the bulgy handle ), the All Purpose ?......... well, I would take my IMXs over it any day anytime.

Your fishing jigs on a short medium spinner???  That could be the problem with loosing fish right there.  Also, what line are you using?

Not everyone can have more than 1 rod and reel...I personally use a 6'6" m f to fish everything except cranks, not the ideal but it works for me

Join the club, I had 5 new Kistler rods at the start of the 2008 fishing season, the now have been sold and replaced with St. Croix's, Fenwick's, and Shimano's.
