NO softplastic bait is THAT good. not 59 bucks good.

Key word here is SOFT PLASTIC!!! People are just freakin' stupid it seems. Why spend way more than the suggested retail for the baits when they are going to tear in a fish or two? :;)

That's what I was thinking. I mean a swimbait that is custom made like 4bizz and some of the others on here use that is hard plastic or wood and has a tough finish I could see dropping that kind of dough on. But soft plastic?? I hope that guy has a bottle of Mend-It on hand!! ;D

Jimzee, even worse is the fact that someone will buy it.

As I have always said.....There is an arse for every seat.

Good Call!!  I think you hit the nail on the head Wayne. ;)

I would have to agree that is just outrageous, but at the same time the guy selling them isn't making anyone buy it.   I don't condone it, but I'm not mad at him either. I think I have a cane pole I will list for $200, any takers ;D

The bidders propably think that this bait is the answer to their prayers.

Or they are in a tournament and really need an edge.

Next year we will not have any problem finding these baits, just like the Chatterbait craze last year.

Are these people crazy?

Yes, crazy to catch more fish and win a tournament.

Think that guy is gonna be a little ticked when his magic wand catches very few or no fish at all.Unless of course hes a millionaire.

Like I said in another post,I remember 40+ dollar chatterbaits on ebay. What a joke. Those baits arent that great and wont catch fish that the right spinnerbait or crank wont.I also seen some swim senkos before the market was fully open for them sell for 30 + dollars!

Back to the original question:NO they havent lost their minds.....They sold it on E-BAY.

Chances are that person will never see the 59 dollars.

The winning bidder only has one feedback. Which means chances are that he just ran up the price on purpose with no intention of paying.

I have sold a lot of stuff on ebay and people do have to start somewhere, BUT I usually won't let people with less than 10 feedbacks bid on my stuff because chances are  50/50 they won't pay and are just running the prices up on stuff. At least on electronic items.

FINALLY SOMEONE HAD THE B@*S TO SAY IT WAY TO GO FOURBIZ!!!!!!! 8-)

Reminds me of the little boy standing on the corner selling apples. He had a sign advertising "Apples, $1,000,000 each".

A passerby commented that he sure wasn't going to sell many apples at that price. The boy responded, "I only need to sell one."

That's a good one, ohh wise one! ;) 8-)

I have a fortune in LC lures and all I do is take the hooks off and put them on other baits. They are nice baits, but I just don't catch anything on them around here. I have done well in Alabama  on Lake Wheeler with a couple of them. :;)

I only have 2 feedbacks from e-bay sellers.

That's why I said people need to start somewhere. But my experience from selling electronics in the past is that you better have 10 or more feedbacks to buy from me. Took me a month to sell my 360 because people with one or two bids were the final bidders and they never paid up.

Seriously I needed to hear this. I almost went on a spending spree this morning. Lucky Craft Pointers and slender pointers were really calling my name. Bait Monkey has been strong this morning but I have fended him off. A couple times I almost pressed the "submit order" button but ended up closing my browser. I have four x-raps and since I'm not a huge jerkbait fisherman I should just be happy with those.

Frog, you saved me from buying stuff that I didn't need and I salute you. 8-)

I think my score on there is around 400 with about 1600 perfect transactions, and i still have people email me to make sure i'm 'serious'. BUT i won't sell to anyone under 10 feedbacks. No Way, No How. THE FEES WILL KILL YOU ON THAT SITE, especially when deadbeats don't pay up. And it takes weeks to get your money back IF you decide to jump through all the hoops.

I don't like selling on there because in most cases your giving stuff away, but I DO like shopping on there (trying to get something for next to nothing)

Exactly. The only things I sell on Ebay are electronics because IMO those are the few things that you can sell without "giving" your stuff away.

There is a way you can get your money back from the item you tried to sell.Ebay will prosecute non payers.Might have to go through some trouble though...

The huddleston is $35 dollars, catches bigger fish, and doesn't tear nearly as easily.

These basstrix tear after one fish, yes you can use Mend-It, but still.

I'm stupid, I should have put packs on ebay. Maybe i'll go get some more.
