How are Chonarch Bs?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of selling some Revos and replacing them with something else.  How are the Shimano Chronarch Bs?  I know that they are a wee bit heavy, but I like the finish, the aluminum sideplates, and the size/feel.  How do they fish?  Will they handle 1/4oz baits like the Revos?  Any other thought would be appreciated.

:)

I use one for crankbaits and I love it.

I can throw a 1/4 oz crank a mile.

I had  a 100b and i loved the reel so my dubass sold it for a revo stx and what a stupid move that was so i sold the revo and got a deal on a metanium mg7 which i awsome ...so yes i would def buy a 100b again they cast light and heavy lures very well  ;D

the chronarch bs are freeging sweet ,,, untill i saw the zillions were 20 bucks cheeper ... i went with the zillion and never looked back ... now if you must have shimano the chronach b is one sweet reel ... you may wanna think about the new cu that reel looks sweet for the price  :)

It will be the best reel you own besides it's a Shimano.

I have two for back ups, they are great reals I can cast them all day they feel great in my hand and never had any trouble with them.
