  Cabelas has the tour edition pt on sale, anybody using this thing?

Girlfriend just bought me one, the burner series 7.0 gear ratio.

Feels nice and solid, nice design, 11 bearings feel super smooth.

Casting is pretty easy, this is my first baitcaster, and I can basically set the Magnetic break on it, and cast without slowing down the cast much with my thumb and not get birdnest at all.

So far I love it.  Have been reading alot of reviews on it also and seems to be all positive.

I loved mine (I left it at the yesterday and someone walked away with it), it would cast a mile and it was very smooth. I'm not sure if it was worth the original 239.99 price but it definately is worth the 129.99 and then some.

the brake is centrifugal not magnetic.

i bought the energy pt on sale for $99 and i love it. its really smooth and casts great, i can only imagine the tour edition would be twice as good.

Don't have that one but I do have several cheaper Quantums I purchased at Dick's (their branded models) and I like them.  I'm thinking about getting the Accurist that is also on sale at Cabelas to put on a flippin' stick I'd like to get.

I don't have the Tours but several friends do and like them. I've got 4 Energies and they are all great. Very smooth and so far no problems. You can search back a few month and should find some more poets on the Tours and Energies. A lot of people looked at them when they first went on sale.

I got one about 2 months ago, hard to beat for $130, $240 not so much

I have one i got last year and love it
