Tackle Tour's review of the Patriarch says it comes in a standard spool and wide spool version. I've only found the wide spool version. If anyone has the standard spool version, where did you find it and what are the specs. (weight, line capacity, etc.).

I have another question. Is (or will be) this reel available in a lefty version?

I've purchased 3 of the LP reels recently off of Ebay.  2 of them were $125 shipped for free and the 3rd was $115 shipped free.

They were all new in the box and they were all buy it now.

The Pflueger website doesn't list a narrow and a wide spool reel.  They list 2 reels, but with different speeds.  But the spool capacities are the same.

Not a swimbait fishermen but the good part about the WLP is the extra line capacity comes from a wider spool.  The overall profile of the reel isn't taller.

Thanks, Muddy. Since it has pretty much the same line capacity as the Summit, I think I may get another one of those. I have one and really like it.

I picked up a summitt at BPS last weekend for the first time.  It's a really nice reel.  Unless you want the metallic finish on the Patriarch, that reel would be a great substitute since it basically has nearly the same features.
