Now that I am getting "more serious" about fishing I'm trying to figure out what to do with my 5 1/2' Medium Shakespeare Ugly Stick.  Can I use it successfully for any type of fishing?  Or should I just give it to a needy child?  All ideas are welcome.  Thanks.

Crappie...the fish...Thats what I use my smaller ugly stick for...and bluegill....would be a good kids fishing rod though

Keep it.

Use it for fun pond fishing.

You can't kill an Ugly Stick.

And one day you may want to give it to your kids or a young relative.  

Getting harder to find good medium power 5'6" rods I'd keep it for jerkbaits, small spinnerbaits, etc.
