Can loomis GLX 844c be called all around rod? I have MG7 and I am trying to match it with the most all around rod I could since I am not in a position to have 2-5 rods ....

it can be for plastics and blades.

to incorporate the treble baits along with plastics and blades, you may wanna look at the 843.

both deserve a place in any arsenal but, the 843 is a slightly better all-rounder, imo.

I 2nd the 843 for a better all around rod.  I have it in a IMX and throw jigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, tx rig worms, even some cranks at times.

I havn't fished the 843, but I have used my 844 for many applications and it has performed well.

It wil do the job but I use the super sensitivity of the GLX for jigs and soft plastics like others have indicated
