They finally caught up to Cabela's and are carrying some E21 rods.

whats the difference in the cheaper one and the one that costs you a c-note more?

The guides are upgraded and the butt of the handle has a screw off end to add weight.

Saw them the last time I was in the store in St Charles MO.  Nice, light rods but I just can't do it.  I've always been one that didn't want to disclose what I was fishing with on the lake, lures or otherwise.  They literally glow and you can see a guy fishing with one of those rods from a 1/4 mile away.   ;D

You could use them as a distress signal.

I use them to catch a crap load of bass...

I really want one of those, a lot. I'm getting a gift card there and know an employee who can get me a discount, so I'll probably do it.

Why do I want one so bad you ask? Because it is orange and made out of carrots, thats why.

I really hope they up the ante and carry the Carrot Gold Stix.  The 7'2" and 8' ML spinning models look like they have the potential to be killer slip-bobber rods, on paper at least.  I just hope they have a soft enough tip to safely lob minnow/leech rigs.

My OK day just turned into a wonderful day. I can head up to Foxboro and play around with them now. I plan on going all orange by the start of next season. So light, so sensitive, no need for other rods in my boat.

Wow, BPS never ceases to amaze.  They're only what, a year behind the times?

Try Gander Mountain, they're even worse.  I think they are just getting the Curado D's in for 09'.   ;D
