thanks guys...this is the crappiest B-day ever!!  it is pouring down rain and it is cold!!  i was planning to get out....would have gone even if raining but i dont think i want to deal with wet AND cold.....and it is supposed to be the same tomorrow....then its back to work monday....anyway thanks again!

Happy Birthday ;D I heard todays weather was not that great for fishing in Texas. Do you think the season is over in Texas?

i went out sunday morning....was just barely drizzling out and no wind...in the 40's..not bad....soon as we get to the golf course it closes...so we go to lake waco COE park....get out and start casting....it starts pouring and the wind picks up big time...needless to say...after about 2 minutes of that, we bailed....

have i become that big of a sissy in 1 year?  i was born and raised in upstate NY, and in the last 6 years 5 of them were spent in duluth minnesota....and i worked OUTSIDE!!  we used to pray for it to warm up to zero so we could shed a layer or two....now it is in the 40's with some rain and wind and i cant even hardly stand it....let me tell you, when it is 20 below and your outside three stories up, and 25 feet from the shore of lake superior and the wind is blowing 20 MPH and its snowing....THAT...is freakin cold...i would have thought 40 and a little rain would be nothing...oh well guess i have become a sissified southern boy  ;D
