I'm confused on what reel to buy this will be my second baitcaster so i don't have a favorite brand or anything but im trying to choose between johnny morris sig/elite or patriarch or the energy pt 09 i just don't know all i have is 200.00 :-? >

I have not used a JM elite so I'm not familiar with them.  I do own 4 JM sig reels, 2 - JMX10HC's and 2 JMX 10SC's.  They are great reels and are butter smooth.  The dual brake system is outstanding.  That said, they are a slightly higher profile than the Pflueger Patriarch and around 1.2 oz heavier.  They are a pretty beefy reel.

The Patriarch is the way to go.  Save your money too,  you can regularly find Patriarchs brand new on Ebay in the $120-140 range.  

With "only $200" I wouldn 't think it too much, I 'd jump on a Chronarch Mg.

You might want to look an Abu Garci Revo SX.  I have several of them.  They are smooth as silk, they cast smooth a mile, magnetic brakes that work, super drag, and come in two different retrieve speeds for around $159.
