Some new, affordable Daiwa reels

Maybe this is old news, but this is the first I've seen of the new Daiwa Trillionaire and Black Widow.  Looks like they are based on the Exceller and TD-A, respectively.

i wonder how hard it would be for daiwa, abu, shimano, so on to offer not just 6.3:1 in these reels. id love to see a 3.8:1, maybe a 4.5:1...

I agree with Skunked Again completley I want these companies exspecially Qauntum to come out with with a ultra-low gear ratio like 3.8:1 or something like that for crankbaits.

That is news to me too. I like they looks of both, too bad the Black Widow is not available in LH.

For the same reason Shimano doesn't offer the Curado 200E5 in a LH version, just no demand for such a beast.

I remember the old version of the Black Widow, I had one back in the day. Man that thing was a piece of junk. Newer version based off that TDA frame should be a decent little reel if it's anything like the TDA.

They have been out for a while.  I bought several of the baitcasters last winter and spring.  Also bought the spinning reel.  The baitcaster looks sweet parked on a carrot and I am thinking of another carrot for the spinnging reel.  Here's a pic of the spinning reel:

BTW, I think the TDA Black widow II spinning reel only came in the 2500 size.  Never could find anything out from Daiwa about these reels.  The only place I saw them last winter was on e-bay.
