Customer service is a very important factor to me when buying any fishing equipment. When deciding between two brands, outstanding customer service can make a difficult decision much easier. What major reel and rod companies do you this have the best and worst customer service departments?  Thanks.

Best Reel Customer Service: Shimano

Best Rod Customer Service: St. Croix

Don't have a bad one because these are really the only two companies that i use other than Falcon, which I have yet to use customer service with them.

Hurricane Redbone, on the spot over the counter lifetime exchange, what can be better?...........great rods too.

Reels: Shimano

Rods: G. Loomis and St. Croix

However, BPS and Cabela's have some of the best "overall

service" and I'm sure this applies to their in-house brands.

The ones I have personal experience.

Rods. Airrus, Okuma, GLoomis.

Reels. Daiwa, Quantum, Shimano, Abu.

Best sevice on rods has been St. Croix.  For reels Abu Garcia and Quantum are about the same for great service.
