Ok guys so heres the deal. Im in the market for a new baitcasting  rod but I dont want to spend more than 200. Im looking for a 7ft medium heavy or heavy. Now what suggestions do you guys have. Any help is greatly appreciated. 8-)

What techniques are you hoping to use this rod for?  I would take a look at the Shimano Crucial series.  Awesome rods and very affordable ($130)  I have 3 of the 7' MH and they are my favorite all purpose rod.

for $200. Otherwise, St. Croix Avid AVC70MHF or 70HF.

I like the Techna AV series, it's just that "full bore retail" seems too

high priced for these rods. At $158 delivered, jump on it!

I love the carrot gold stix right at 200 dollars great rod nice and light but plenty of power to turn bigger fish. Deffinatly take a look at this rod plus it looks cool
