Hey guys just order my first crankin rod and was wondering what would be a good line to use.  I was thinking maybe 12 lb Flurocarbon?  Once again thanks a lot!!

I use 12lb trilene 100%....great line.

look at your rod specs it will say the recomended line size. The deeper you fish the stiffer the line(less strech)ie topwater-4' use 12lb big game, 4'-10' use 12lb yozuri hybrid, 10'-16' use 10lb berkley 100%flouro, anything deeper 40lb vicious braid. Just what I like you may be different.
