which reel would you pick?

Featured Replies

I've done alot of research and decided on getting one of these two reels.

Either a Chronach D(aluminum version of the core) or a Diawa Alpha Ito.

which one would you pick? and why.

thanks in advance

The Chronarch D, I have serviced Alpha Itö's and Daiwa® JDM does make some fine reels..

I would still go for the Shimano® because of its US support right out of the box, were as the Itö doesn't have the Daiwa® US Support right out of the box...

Just my .02¢

Tight Lines! any way you go.....

I would pick the Itö.

Reel Mech 's advice is also worth it 's weight in gold, get the Itö ---> you are on your own, although it can be serviceable with Sol parts.

For me such advice does not apply, either way Itö or Chronarch I 'm on my own, even though there are several Shimano dealers in Mexico I wouldn 't send any of my reels to be serviced by them.
