Bass 4, me 0
Ok, so there's this nice fishing pond by my house, made just for bank anglers. It a series of different ponds about 20 yards wide and really long like a snake so you can have access to just about anywhere on the pond. I would say its 10 feet deep at most. Right now there's tons of weed, literally covering 98% of the ponds and I've been there 4 times, trying different techniquics, throwing a roboworm on a shaky head, casting a senko rigged weedless, and I've fished frogs with no success. Any suggestions? I know theres bass in there cuz one time I caught three bass with a popper. and right now I cant fish them. I can't keep losing to them like this. HELP!!!!!!

KDM, NS Black Hole Rods... so pretty
The hurricane rod is a very nice rod. The last time I visited Korea I got a rod called vanessa. It's a sweet rod with the most unqic paint job. Transitions from metallic red to orange or green. Depending on how you look at it. Ever heard of it icheon basser?

Stren Sonic Braid !
its the only braid I use now. I've tried the fireline and I personally like the sonic braid much better. Its noticibly smoother, and casts alot farther.

Fireline Braid = Great Stuff

"Fool a Fish" uv ray spray.
ok, I fished yesterday at the Williamete river. Water was colder than normal so I threw a drop shot at a drop off in 45 feet of water. fished for 10min. caught a 2lb smallie. nothing for the 50 min. The next hour I put some of the FAF spray on the roboworm, and caught 4 fish in the hour, 2 1lber, 1 2 lber and 1 3lber. I love it already!!!!! I don't know if it was just luck or not, I'm gonna fish with this a few more times to see if its actually helping me catch fish. till next time I don't know for sure if it actually works.

"Fool a Fish" uv ray spray.
I just bought one just to try it out. It comes in a small 2 oz spray bottle and it was around $5. On it, it says "new research shows fish can see uv rays clearly and actually use it to locate there food". Visible light only penetrrate 40 feet. But uv goes down to 1/2 a mile. I figured what the heck why not try it. It might be the next greatest thing. You can put it on anything really cranks plastics baits. I think I'll try it with a Texas rig and see how much better the fish can see my bait with it on. It also has a garlic scent so it backs up as scent. I'm going to try it when I fish this weekend and tell you guys how it all went down.

what kind of hooks/size do you guys use for drop shotting? I use gammys drop shot hooks but sometimes get better hook ups with a size 1 worm lock.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Ultra Soft
I personally like the ultra soft better. Its limper and easier to manage.

Worst spool of triline 100%
At least thats what I think I got. I love trilene 100% and have been using it for years. I have it spooled on all my rods expect topwater and flippin rig. So I purchased a 8LB test trilene at d*cks and spooled it up on my 2500 symetre and when I cut the line from the line spool. at least 3/4 of the line jumped out. It was a first and the weirdest thing. never happened before. I probably got a bad spool or something. Has anyone had this happen? P.S. I couldn't put the line back on because a whole lot of knots formed. >

"Fool a Fish" uv ray spray.
I was at dicks yesterday and came across a bottle called fool a fish or something like that. It says you can put it on your plastics, lures and etc. and it shines uv rays brighter so the fish can see the bait better, therefore heighting your chance to catch a fish.. anyone seen this or heard of this? I figured I might try a bottle of it out. who know it might work.

Rod Sensitivity: two piece vs. one piece
Ok, I just ordered a two piece xml ti spinning rod from Cabela's. I've never ordered an expensive rod in 2 piece rods, because I didn't want to sacrifice the sensitivity of the rod. So my question is how much more sensitive is a one piece rod than a two piece? Is it noticible?

question about reel seat and rod blank. HELP!!
Ok, now that I researched alot of info on rod building, I still have one more question. The rod blank is smaller than the reel seat, so you put arbors in between it. but than How do you have the blank exposed? I'm really pulling my hair on this one and it's the only thing keeping me from building my first rod.
