Who Makes Bass Pro Shops Rods?

Featured Replies

This maybe a dumb question, but I have no idea so I am asking it.

    So who makes these?

    Does anybody know?

Some little asian kid sitting next to a big machine.

Not sure what company tho.

LMAO Cart!

I have no idea who makes them.  When someone finds out, will you tell them to quit making the rods so danged heavy these days.  They used to be much lighter.

G Loomis.

Not. ;)

I have heard that currently Browing/Mitchell are making the BPS rods.

Browning doesn't make anything.  BPS licenses the Browning name for a line of gear.

LMAO  I would like to thank you for allowing me to spit coffee on my keyboard.  HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

The simple answer is Bass Pro does.  The actual factory they are made at is the same factory that makes rods for a lot of companies (including Shimano).  Shimano, BPS, All Star, or which ever company works with the engineers at that factory to develop each series.  The individual companies determine how the rod is to be made, and of what components.
