what do you mean by "losing a lot of spinnerbaits"?

You haven't heard, PowerPro dislikes being on Shimano reels, LOL! J/K, what knot are you using on the spinners? Or is it breaking somewhere else?

hahha just the basic 7 spins and putting it through the eye and pulling. Its been snapping alot from BIG fish, or when i cast it will just snap off. SOMETIMES.

that knot slips on braid.

use a uni knot.

I have been using 20 and 40lb PP on 2 Citicas for over a year and still haven't broken any line. I use Palomar knots and double loop the arm on the spinner bait before tightening it down. If you do this and still break line call PP and complain.

The line isn't breaking.

Its your knot..... use a palomar

palomar and glue it with crazy glue.get rid of the outdated powerpro and get berkleys new fireline braid.

do i still put the loop on the hook for a spinner using the palomar?

Use the palomar knot, keep the Power Pro and don't even think about picking up Fireline.  ;)
