does anyone have any good tutorials for dissembling, regreasing, and reassembling baitcasting reels? (pics included please!)

You don't make mention of the reel model....

But if your thinking of going deeper into the reel. Then you need the have the schematic for the reel in front of you (plus a knowledge of how to read the diagram), a good clean place to do the work, and last but not least a good mechanical aptitude and able to use small tools.

The only tutorial left on-line that might be worth the time to watch on complete break downs, would be the one that is sold on the Lake Fork Tackle Repair site, and it only references Shimano® reels..

it's a pfleuger echelon. i just need to do basic maintenance. i also have a abu garcia ambassaduer that i need to look at the drag control because it's gotten really TIGHT.

You don't make mention of the reel model....

 

I'm using a Shimano Curado 200E5 as the test subject.  Patient is about six months old.
