Targeting the female angler market perhaps?

That would probably be the "Lady Endeavor" combo. They also have three versions of the "Lady Trion" combo in spinning, spincast, and underspin.

From Pflueger's site:

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Pflueger ladies products will go to charities that benefit the early detection of breast cancer.

Cool stuff.

It's kind of rad, granted the rod it's on sucks.  And yes, I said rad.  I'm initiating a comeback.....

I like the color pink. ;) Maybe not that shade of pink on a reel too much, but I've seen a pink reel over at TT that I think was a high end Daiwa that would be a sweet addition to my or anyone else's arsenal.

My wife isn't all that into fishing, but since I bought her a Lady Trion pink combo, her interest seems to have increased.  So say what you will about the pink rod and reel, I know it has gotten my wife out on the water with me more often.

Ill second that notion. Im thinking on picking up the gf one of these combos or at least the reel. She will go nuts over a pink reel, common haha.

I thinks it good that pflueger is donating a portion of the earnings toward breat cancer detection.  I've been and ultrasound tech full time coming a year in Oct. and it's sad and scary to see women come in for an ultrasound because they felt something but didn't go to the doctor because they don't have insurance or they just didn't want to deal with it and you can immediately tell its cancer from the first picture.

I expected a totally different thing when I opened this thread.   ;)

My girlfriend loves her pink combo and wants to go fishing all the time with her "cute" rod. ;)
