Emergency need help with fix a rod tip ?

I was fishing and my rod tip broke i found a picture online that looks like the problem i saw that the picture i got had a article say if Using some superglue and fishing line, I repaired the rod as best I could. how do u fix this problem ?

That won't work...  you need to cut it off just beyond the damaged place (and any split) and install a new tip top.  

When cutting the blank, put a wrap of masking tape around it and use a dremel cutting wheel... don't cut all the way through at one spot, go around the blank with the dremel, taking a little bit off all the way around.  That helps to keep the blank from splitting further down.

Wal-mart and Academy carry an emergency replacement kit with 3 sizes of tips and the hot melt glue.

Well the fix shown is mickey moused at best and won't last.

Fix: Take the rod to your nearest tackle shop and ask them to place a new tip. They should be able to do the tip replacement for about 3.99..

Or go buy a tip repair kit and replace the tip top yourself....

You will not get that small of a break to repair.
