Has anyone heard anything/ used either the new abu garcia vendetta rods or the new Wright & McGill Skeet Tessera rods. They both looks really neat, but does anyone know anything about the quality?

try a search on either of the rods. We've had a few threads about them and I'm sure you can find a little information on them but I don't think the Vendettas are even out yet and the Tessara's JUST came out so you aren't going to find too many hands-on reviews.

TW has the flippin stick, and the dropshot rods.  They look ok and are  priced right. I'll probably pick one up to try it. I have a Bucoo and love it, so rods in this price point can be good.

The Vendettas and the Vengence are out, came out yesterday I think or Friday maybe.  Only 3 models for the Vendetta though at TW,

The quality question you are asking about cannot be addressed until they have been on the market for a year or two.

I'm surprised at how many people buy rods and reels "because they look cool."

I don't see why, its a factor of the rod.  Looks play a huge role, I do not choose my rods based on looks alone, but if it comes down to rod 1 vs rod 2 and I like them equally the same and they both fulfill the same purpose, it will come down to which one is more aesthetically pleasing to me.

how do you know which one will be the best ?

yep, they were put up within hours of my post.

I don't know if you've seen, but tackle tour as a big of info on them. The Vandetta I'm sure it'll be good. looks good on the out side and under the hood! Tackle warehouse has them up for sale of of now... I'd check e-bay too!

I'd really like to get it though... if I do I'll make sure to p(b)ost about it!
